I’m Nora Ness, life scientist and self-taught photo artist with an eye for the beauty of the female body. Since I can remember I’ve been attracted to the beauty of the naked female body. My erotic self-performance in front of the mirror, showing true erotic moments and passion, catches the eye of anybody who isn’t ashamed to look at. Provocation is an important aspect in my work as well. I use the mirror to let people look into the mendacious morality of our society. Eroticism and nudity aren’t nasty at all. To the contrary true, eroticism and passion are the best things nature has given us, and we shouldn’t be ashamed about the feelings erotic art is able to stir inside of us. Instead of being ashamed, we should enjoy these fantastic feelings as long as we can. | ![]() |

Another important aspect of my work is to show people that eroticism and passion are independent of age and the shape of your body. Don’t believe that only young, slim bodies can be erotic. That isn’t true at all. We are all erotic human beings whose bodies are made to give and receive pleasure. Our bodies, regardless of age and shape, are erotic art created by the greatest artist in the universe, nature itself. Evolution has created so many individuals and each of them is an original, beautiful and precious.
In my work I realize a provocative self-performance, which ranges from pure nudity to real erotic moments, but my work has nothing to do with pornography. My work is only breathtakingly erotic, sensual, and full of truly passionate emotions. What makes my work so different from the mainstream in this area is the fact that the latter mostly deals with male sexuality, and is even mostly flat, not really deeply erotic at all. I show my body, my erotic feelings and my passions with the eyes of a woman. You should look at my images of myself without being scared. In fact, glamour nudes and porn don’t stimulate the mind at all. There is very little depth. In contrast, good erotica is richly deep and full of real emotions. For me, erotic art has to vivify our sexuality by arousing our minds. For it is the mind that controls the body. I was often asked if this kind of artwork isn’t totally different to my work as a scientist. To the contrary, my work is always like a scientific experiment. It has to be planned very thoroughly, and, nevertheless, the outcome is always unknown.
