I look for the common language between figurative and abstract art. Where does the first end and where does the second begin? For 24 years, I have heard both, “You are abstract!” and, “You are figurative!” In fact, I am very interested by both and with the natural mix created my own style. So, why this focus? I may never have the answer, but as a French master said to me 22 years ago, ” The most important and essential part is to find pleasure when you paint.”
