My work is about the human condition: violence, loneliness, fear, sex, death, fertility. My interior reality determines my painting, placing it close to expressionism and aside to surrealism. I usually use dark humor to dismiss drama, introducing incongruent details to show us how absurd life can be. I communicate with the spectator, playing with semantic ambiguities and psychological discrepancies. My paintings tend to be figurative, but a geometric ordered base underlies my compositions, where a dynamic rhythm played by curved lines leads the spectator through a visual promenade and into interior self-contemplation.
