Painting gives a feeling of fulfillment as I move from one work to the next- it allows me to interrelate. Exploring creative dimensions feeds my quest for meaning. Art allows me to glorify compassion, merrymaking, simplicity and truth. My intention is to translate an idea, bond with a new spirit.

I’m especially drawn to what inspires matter, fertile environments, the origin and the end of things. Warm and mysterious colors, initiate a conversation with the intensity of a watchful eye. Determinedly, I call upon the unexpected by my spontaneous action, encouraging the spirit of the gesture.

Of all subjects the one I prefer is portraiture. Through this exercise I can study human nature and its enigmatic qualities. Nature is my beacon, the ultimate model of perfection. From landscape to landscape, my own process pushes me to understand its mysteries and ever changing manifestations. I criss-cross villages and paths to satisfy my search for adventure, while multiplying exquisite encounters on the way. Each of my pilgrimages carries me to ever wilder landscapes, through forests and swamps, rivers and mountains.

Added to my curiosity about nature, is my visceral interest in the wisdom and customs of Aboriginal peoples. My vision expresses this interrelation between everything that exists and tries to reveal its ever-present strength. The day is breaking on my canvases, bearing these symbols emerging from an imaginative world, mixed with traditional rituals and aspirations giving away attachment.
