I was always intrigued by nature and always wanted to be outside. My desire is to reintegrate the female body into nature, to re-establish the link between spirit and nature. Swarming into large cities we have lost that connection, and consequently many people in Western society carry within themselves a sense of displacement. They feel detached from the world around them. I think this separation can also be seen in the degradation of our environment. The planet is alive. Trees, soil, oceans – they are living ecosystems, and we are part of that process. I try to link creation with the creative source.
