Daniel Traub has lived in Beijing, China since 1999 where he has worked as a photographer and documentary film cameraman. As a photographer, he has been engaged with long term projects including a series of urban street portraits and a�body of work entitled Simplified Characters. His photographs have appeared in various publications including Wallpaper, Telegraph Magazine and Newsweek. As a cameraman, he has filmed numerous documentaries and reports throughout Asia for broadcasters including German Television ZDF and Arte.
