Whether working at field chores, hunting, fishing, or playing, my outdoors experiences were akin to the Wonderland exploits of Lewis Carroll’s Alice…A complete appreciation of nature requires us to interweave cognition and imagination. My pictures are attempts to do so, observations of a naturalist working at the intersection of ‘fact and fancy.'”
