My work, which I have coined the term “Proto biomorphisms” features paintings with amoeba-like shapes with densely textured backgrounds. “Proto biomorphisms” are a common ancestor of a set of related visual art styles that merge into a singular, albeit simplified graphic language that revisits a primal even dreamlike vision of sensual and spiritual sensations.  I combine early 20th century Surrealists’ fantastical visual imagery from the subconscious mind with primitive cave drawing along with the visual improv of graffiti and hip-hop.
