I examine the visually driven attributes of light & reflection, Dimension
& perspective, color & value, and form & movement. My art
may prompt an expanded emotion from the viewer. For example, the colors
red and black my stir energy or passion. Green and blue may provoke a
recall of flora or water. Yellow and sienna may prompt an affection of
earth, rock, or soil.  Depth is created through the combination of light, form, and color. Movement
can be achieved through the stroke of a brush or palette knife and by the  positioning of forms on and sometimes off the canvas. Color gets a
viewer’s attention. Movement can hold that attention.
