These works show the formal logic of Carlos Aquilino´s pictorial architecture. The exaggerated perspective, with its lines in strange escorza (foreshortened figures), the games with chiaroscuro, the expressive force of the spaces, the sculptural nature of the faceless figures, as well as his representation of movement, with an absolutely personal discourse, transmit a metaphysical idea of the human being.
