ARTINTERNATIONAL Istanbul 2015
ARTINTERNATIONAL launched in September 2013 in Istanbul to strong international acclaim. Now in it’s third edition the fair will once again bring together leading international and local galleries to the Haliç Congress Center from 5 – 6 September 2015, with a Private Collectors Preview on 4 September 2015.
Drawing on its unique geographic location as a gateway between ‘East’ and ‘West’, the fair is fast becoming a cultural bridge across the global art world.
The fair also provides a programme of exhibitions, events and forums, enabling visitors to experience the rich cultural history of Istanbul alongside the flourishing local contemporary art scene developing today.
WHO WE ARE
A team of knowledgeable and experienced individuals in the field of international art fairs are behind the organisers of ARTINTERNATIONAL.
Local partner İnterteks, founded in Turkey in 1976, have organized events for more than 34 years including 460 international events in over 30 different fields. Interteks has recently partnered with established Italian exhibition group Fiera Milano to form Fiera Milano Interteks.
Sandy Angus of Angus Montgomery is a co-founder of the Fair. He brings in extensive experience in the art world, having co-founded ART HK, the Hong Kong International Art Fair which he later sold to Basel. His interest in emerging art scenes and markets, saw Sandy Angus became a Shareholder and Director of India Art Fair as well as a Founder of Photo Shanghai.
