    Art Stage Singapore | January 24 – 27 2013

Art Stage Singapore is proud to announce the launch of a new online platform Art Stage +, a special collaboration with Gallerist Inc. Launching at the upcoming 2013 edition, which takes place from 24-27 January, this groundbreaking collaboration, the first of its kind in the Asia Pacific region, will provide a global audience with the opportunity to interact with a fully functional virtual replica of the fair.

Opening three days prior to the fair, Art Stage + will allow discerning art enthusiasts and collectors the opportunity to preview the works from every participating gallery at Art Stage Singapore 2013. Online sales through this new platform will commence in tandem with the first public viewing of the fair and will continue until 28 January, one day after the physical fair closes its doors. Visitors to Art Stage + will be able to view, reserve and purchase art works directly through the platform. Extending the reach of Art Stage Singapore around the globe, Art Stage + targets thosewho are unable to visit the fair, and provides those who can, with the opportunity to contemplate a purchase, re-visit the work online, and reserve an artwork.

No longer limiting the fair to physical location, Art Stage + allows both established and budding art aficionados from all over the world to participate in the collecting process. “Art Stage + is an exciting development for Art Stage Singapore. It enables the fair to realise its goal of raising the profile of Southeast Asian art around the world. Whilst our physical footfall continues to increase year on year, now art enthusiasts and collectors can appreciate and buy works from our galleries no matter where they are. As the digital world develops it is increasingly important that the art world keeps pace and I am especially proud that we have managed to add this element to Art Stage Singapore,” says Lorenzo Rudolf, Art Stage Founder and Director.
