The second annual Art Naples will return March 23 – 26 to the Naples International Pavilion at Immokalee and Livingston Roads.
The 2012 Fair will again showcase an array of international galleries exhibiting artists spanning 20th century modern masters and 21st century contemporary and emerging artists. The presentations will include a wide breadth of mediums encompassing fine art glass, painting, photography, mixed media, large-scale installation, sculpture and video.
This year the fair will feature a special tribute to the American Studio Glass Art Movement in coordination with the Naples Museum exhibition “Evolution/Revolution” in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the American Glass Art Movement. The fair will also sponsor special exhibitions, lectures and artist discussions on the history of the American glass art movement and its future, including “The Future of Studio Art Glass Movement” a panel discussion moderated by Ferdinand Hampson, Director, Habatat Galleries and panelist including internationally renowned Glass artists Toots Zynsky and Dan Dailey.
The Preview evening, March 22, will honor the members Patty and Jay Baker Naples Museum of Art and Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts. The evening will commence with a by member-invitation-only First View from 5:30-7 PM, followed by the Collectors Invitational from 7-10 PM.
