On May 25 and 30th "Expo-Park Exhibiting Projects" company held the annual International Visual Fair "Art Moscow", which included 45 galleries and non-commercial art organizations. Integrating Russian contemporary art into the international context, "Art Moscow" has become a keystone in the infrastructure of Russian contemporary

art. Russian society’s increasing interest in contemporary art has contributed to the growth in the number of participating galleries and the diversity of countries represented this year. The amount of participating international galleries also added to the overall flavor of the exhibition. Among the represented galleries were members from Italy, Sweden and Switzerland, as well as Georgia and Latvia.

The fair was full of fresh and contemporary visual expressions. One could find anything from Bernaskony/Cheporenko’s interactive outdoor sculptures to Brochet’s feminist billboard-size paintings, from

Bartenev’s multimedia installation to Mizin/Shaburov’s comic video art, from "Cubometr" gallery’s creative visual solutions to Makarevish/ Elagina’s conceptual art, just to list a few

As A. S. Sokolov, Minister of Culture and Mass

Communications of the Russian Federation noted, " ‘Art

Moscow’ Fair comprises extraordinary expositions that reflect the very latest ideas from the world of international art today." The Fair has grown to become one of the most prominent events in the capital’s artistic life today. "Art Moscow" stirs up not only the interest of gallery owners, painters, art critics, representatives of the art market, collectors, and connoisseurs of modern art, but also the interest of all visitors to the Central House of Artists."
