    Image Ariel received her BFA in Photography, English, and Creative Writing
    from New York University in 2005.

    Ariel received her BFA in Photography, English, and Creative Writing from New York University in 2005. She currently lives in Brooklyn and is a working artist, teaching ESL and photography. Ariel is committed to exploring the role and impact of photography in contemporary culture and everyday life. Writing and photography are two mediums Ariel uses to employ the artist as a conductor of social experiments, often performing in or entering groups, places and ideas she feels estranged from.

    Exhibitions include: "Watching Television," BFA Thesis Exhibition, NYU, NY 2005; "Secular/Orthodox," The Bronfman Center, NY, NY 2005; "Cabin Comforts: an installation and collective" Secret Project Robot, Brooklyn, NY 2006; "The Real Art World," Katzen Arts Center, Washington, DC; "The EXPO at Ephemeroptera," Brooklyn, NY 2006. Performances include: "Faster Faster, Play Play," Big Dance at The Stable, Brooklyn NY; readings of "Transcribed Stories," Slipper Room, NY, NY 2005. Her poetry has appeared in Tabourey, Oxford University’s poetry magazine and Dirt Press.
