April Bending

“An impressionist capable of extracting subtle emotion with figurative suggestion, April Bending produces images which reflect cosmic threads beaming with protean human character,” says Marx Simao in New Art International, a compendium of contemporary art for which Bending won the book cover award.

Since graduating with a BFA, she has shown across Canada as well as in Tokyo, New York, Milan and the Cayman Islands. This fall she will show Art Forum Berlin, October 30th – November 2nd, and Art Basel Miami, December 4th – 7th.
