Amy Cohen Banker – American artist  born in NYC, NY.
She is one of the most energetic practitioners of New York School aesthetics, whose expressionistic paintings transcend boundaries of colors and poetic impression.  She studied with Knox Martin and has developed an idiom which recalls the vigor and hue of the Abstract Expressionist masters. She has been featured in group shows at museums, galleries and cultural centers in Europe and the US, including Cornell University – Artist in Residence; Isabel O’Neill School and Foundation; Chelsea Art Museum, NYC; Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, Russia; and many others. She was also featured artist in a group exhibition at Christie’s Auctions and Miami Basel Art Fairs.
“She will be a leading force in the 21st Century Art World. She has earned admiration and respect as a distinguished American artist.”
