    I make work that parallels
an inner dialogue with my experiences in this world. I am  drawn to
heads, bodies and symbols. I’m attracted to skin, flesh and color and
its infinite range of possibilities formed with paint.  I do not
think in a literal, linear manner while making the work. I’m working
with other parts of my self, intuition, parts of dreams, fantasies,
psychological forces, other ways of expression.   The world is a
beautiful and ugly place. Relationships between people, situations, and
others are mysterious and stimulating.  Perhaps I do try to tap into
these forces as well while painting.
