My work is rooted in the re-invention of
images and subsequent translation of those ideas to the painted world.
A fascination with cultural myths, popular and obscure trends, peculiar
moments in our history, leads me to the elements I select. In some
instances the work is attempting to capture a prolonged sense of time
in an attempt to convey motion and provide a sense of things coming
together and, at times, breaking apart.
