Chris Aldieri began painting in 1998 while a resident of Key West, Florida. Originally inspired by Mark Rothko, his earlier works reflect the layers of colors that Rothko and other artists are known for. In developing his own style, Chris began mixing paints with different weights of modeling and molding pastes. His work is primarily abstract, textured paintings that overflow with color and movement.
