I have been seriously studying photography independently for six years, but the love for photography has been a passion of mine all my life. I was deeply affected at an early age by the powerful images I discovered in my parent’s copy of The Best of LIFE. There I began my appreciation for the abstract, transcendent qualities of photography, especially with the complex grain structure and the inky black shadows that I would later revel in while watching film noir.
