Bonnie Brown’s paintings have developed into a highly personal visual language of her own; she explores her surfaces through texture, pattern and colour. The poetry of her recent work is often reflective of her time spent in her French studio in the Charente-Maritime. The images and symbols, recorded and reconfigured from her love of the culture, landscape and language, evoke memory, time and place.
