In my work I employ a hybrid of painting, photography, pottery, and
writing which serve to raise serious questions relating to identity,
memory, image/likeness, freedom, and truth etc. These questions are
explored and examined by means of the conflicting media and constantly
shifting paradigms of philosophical and art historical debates. I am
also concerned with the inherent tensions between painting and
photography, aesthetic and conceptual, visual and verbal, original and
copy.
