‘I am interested in making paintings that capture the viewer in a dynamic, physical moment.  My paintings are large, abstract monochromatic surfaces composed of viscous layers of oil paint, poured and rolled from different heights and angles.  Technically this is very challenging and for me, adds to the physicality as well as the intimacy of my process.  I like to think my paintings are about surface, structure and luminosity.’
