    The
art I create shows, in my opinion, more truth about human life than
science, or psychology text-books. Human beings suffer because they
perceive their lives to be boring and kitschy, devoid of meaning.  In
my psychotherapy practice I try to accomplish an artist’s goal: to
change life from kitsch to art, to give it meaning. Each piece of art
has a somewhat depressed quality about it. However, each piece of art
expresses also a feeling of hope and comfort, and a possibility of
renewal. When art is understood, it becomes part of history. Art is
always contradictory, kitsch is plain and straightforward. Only death
is congruent, life is always a contradiction. Therefore human beings
feel at home only in art, outside of art they are more dead than alive.
