NY Arts presents Iranian born artist Arash Bigdeli who lives and works in Canada. The artist produces fascinating work concerned with controversial social issues such as prostitution, poverty and crime using a poetic language with diverse materials such as clay, wood, metal, plaster, sand, concrete and precious stones. In addition to his professional career in pottery and sculpture, he also touched upon the world of dramatic arts, in terms of stage designing and stage accessory making in the Third International Puppetry Theatre Festival and experimental theatres.
