First, I add paint to the canvas, then collage with papers, glass, and fabrics. Then I work in texture, movement, and images. The process is a building of layers. Like creating a flower’s bud, I keep adding and experimenting. Staying on the path, I explore what is in and on the paint.

When I reach a point where time stands still, I often emerge to find that some sort of magic has happened. It feels like the canvas is whole, and I have found a jewel. It then feels complete.
