Sophie Hedderwick is a British textile artist who explores layers in
both form and concept. Her work has been exhibited in London, Cologne
and Tokyo, and has been featured on TV and in many publications. She is
at the forefront of contemporary textiles fusing traditional weaving
with multi-media components.Jonathan Girling has worked with
several major British ensembles and performers over the past few years,
including the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Singers
and Dame Evelyn Glennie. He has also worked with the Royal Shakespeare
Company and has won awards for his BBC television and classical
commissions.Lights out combines double weave, sound activated
neon wires, poetry and music, performed by RSC actor Forbes Masson and
percussionist Jaynie Maynard.
