Cambodian-born Rindy Sam told the court in the southern French city of Avignon that she was "overcome with passion" when she saw the painting by U.S. artist Cy Twombly hanging in a gallery and spontaneously kissed the picture. Towels Target Artists
Starting on Monday, you can find art from such high-profile artists as Jeff Koons, Cindy Sherman, Elizabeth Peyton, and Kehinde Wiley in an unlikely place: Target. The artists each created a limited-edition beach towel for Target’s Artist Towel Series 2008, a partnership with the Art Production Fund’s WOW (Works on Whatever) series, aimed at making art more accessible to everyone, the Dallas Morning News reports.
