The National Museum of Contemporary Art’s mission is to contribute to the spreading of culture through the organization of exhibitions and conservation of contemporary Korean and international art. The museum was inaugurated on October 20, 1969, on the grounds of Gyeongbokgung, in Seoul, Korea.
