Anything
can happen in art and I like it that way. It’s a performance and it
just depends on when the viewer is invited in to see it. Sometimes it’s
about to begin, sometimes you’re chasing after it and it’s already
gone. I’m aiming for the performance to unfold: in this work I’m using
photography of collage and television — my broadcast and its broadcast
— absolutely personal elements and ridiculously impersonal elements
colliding on a wave of chance.
