Kazuyo Sato-LeueKazuyo Sato-Leue lives in Oakland, CA. USA. She was born in Japan and came to San Francisco to study art at the Art Institute in 1976. After studying for eight years at this school, she mastered American Abstract Expressionism. Her work contains representational (metaphoric) images, which all of 50’s American Expressionistic painters strictly avoided, and therefore her paintings are not really in the style of 1950. She mastered the style and developed it. Her paintings are lyrical, telling a story or singing a song to you.
