Portraits of North American Indians
Because of the scale of devastation to the people and their culture, the mere act of surviving was transformed into a heroic one. Just not dying meant the chance to give birth to a future. Through the face of the North American Indian I am looking for a reflection of the entire human condition. My new project is to photograph 600 portraits over a period of four years.
