I was born in Armenia in 1973 in the family of theater actors.
In 1996 I moved to New York in pursuit of my artistic aspirations.
Energized by unending dynamics of the city I got involved in photojournalism, which later helped me to find and perfect my own voice and visual style.
Curently I live and work in New York .
