Utilizing processes such as burning, rusting, decomposition,
burying, or weather exposure, layers of fabric are collaged with
encaustic, images and found materials. Through pattern and materials,
questions are raised concerning want vs. need, natural vs. man-made
creation, the overabundance of choice in a commercial society, excess,
waste and it’s impact on cyclic life.
