and raised in Paris, Chrystel Garipuy moved to New York in 2002, to let
her creavity “breathe” in this attractive and neurotic city. She shares
her time with assignments and personal projects, shuttling between
Europe and the U.S. She started photography with metonymic “portraits” of architecture and surroundings and evolved into moody portraits of people.
