Perhaps most noted for his commercial
art for music stars and fantasy/sci-fi book covers DiSilvio’s fine art
projects offer even greater expression. More often than not they
incorporate some apparent or semi-obscure message, as his goal is to
leave the viewer not only with a dazzling visual creation, but
something to mull over as they depart. The current work "Reflections of
Conquest" has a story other than what one initially sees, and invites
the viewer to uncover the true conquest, which is in fact revealed in a
reflection.
