    We’re looking forward to this year’s showdown as over 10 fairs come together in NYC this March.  We’ve selected 5 must see artists among many others.  A short list follows:

    The Armory Show, the fair that started it all, will return to Piers 92 & 94 with a special FOCUS: USA this year.  Check out Dodge Gallery’s highlight, Dave Cole and his rusty lead American flag. The Armory Show will be held at 12th Avenue at 55th Street, Piers 92 and 94 from Mar 7 – 10, 2013.

    We’re looking forward to this year’s showdown as over 10 fairs come together in NYC this March.  We’ve selected 5 must see artists among many others.  A short list follows:

    1. The Armory Show – Dave Cole

    The Armory Show, the fair that started it all, will return to Piers 92 & 94 with a special FOCUS: USA this year.  Check out Dodge Gallery’s highlight, Dave Cole and his rusty lead American flag. The Armory Show will be held at 12th Avenue at 55th Street, Piers 92 and 94 from Mar 7 – 10, 2013.

    2/3. Volta NY – Winston Chmielinski & Devin Troy Strother

    VOLTA NY returns with an exciting roster of selectees.  We recommend two painters:  Winston Chmielinski at booth 1.16 and Devin Troy Strother at booth 1.02.   Volta will be held at M82 Mercer, Entrance: 76 Mercer Street. Mar 7 – 10, 2013

    4/5. SPRING/BREAK – Myla Dalbesio (in collaboration with Amanda Schmitt) & William Rahilly

    SPRING/BREAK Art Show will be held at The Old School, 233 Mott Street, New York City 10012 from March 6-11 2013.  Hours 12-9pm.  Myla Dalbesio is a multi-disciplinary visual artist whose work deals with such far ranging subjects as religion, ritual and mysticism.  William Rahilly’s works are bizarre, haunting vaguely otherwordly.

    Other featured artists included at SPRING/BREAK this year: Leah Dixon, Jamie O’Shae,  Anne-Lise Coste, Jeremy Floto Cassandra Warner, Molly Dilworth,  William Rahilly

    The ADAA Art Show, per usual, will be uptown at Park Avenue Armory, Park Avenue at 67th Street from Mar 6 – 10, 2013

    Fountain kicks off again with their usual crowd of underdogs, artists collectives and emerging galleries.  Fountain will be held at 69th Regiment Armory, 25th Street between Lexington and Park Avenues from March 8 – 10

    Independent is now in it’s 4th year and returns to Chelsea with over 40 galleries.  Independent will be held at 548 West 22nd Street from Mar 7 – 10.

    Pool Art Fair comes back with a nicely curated show that offers visitors a chance to see a groundswell of underrepresented artists.  PooL Art Fair New York will be held at The Flatiron Hotel, 9 West 26th Street from Mar 8 – 10, 2013.
