The mission of 3rd Ward is to address the needs of contemporary artists and creatives by providing an affordable, high-end, multi-disciplinary, open source facility where creative professionals can pursue their careers and projects while building a lasting art community in Brooklyn.
3rd Ward is a member-based artists’ co-op. Our facility houses two gorgeous photo studios, a professional wood and metal shop, a fully loaded digital media lab, an art gallery, shared office space and a multi-disciplinary continuing art education program. It can be used for private rentals, on a per-project basis, for group work, and more.
