    1. Open your eyes and enter into Michael Fuch’s Gallery’s world of dreams before it ends on March 16th. Don’t miss Jonas Burgert, Andreas Golder, Paul Hosking, Leiko Ikemura, Frank Stella, Bernar Venet, and GAMA’s mystical imagery that could transport even a conscious eye into a subconscious world. No need to be pinched. Believe it or not, you’re still awake. Traumwelten (Dream World) is on view from January 19 – March 16.

    2. Campagne Premiere is showing Christoph Girardet’s The Prints until February 23rd and if you believe that art is an onion of layers – this is not to be missed. Girardet takes apart and reassembles found film footage from the 1950s and 60s until it reaches the form of a still print that is nothing but still. A cinematic narrative is born from a singular image and reveals much more than a stillframe, as the series of images becomes not only actual structures, but internal content mechanisms. You may have seen the films before, but you’ve never analyzed it’s imagery quite like this before. Check it out before it closes.

    3. Benoit Maire’s solo exhibition is on view at Croy Nielsen. Maire’s works are varied, experimental and illuminating. It ends March 16th.

    4. K-Hole and Eckhaus Latta – BRAD and YOU is on view at K-HOLE Kraupa-Tuskany Zeidler from Febraury 2 – March 1. K-Hole is a trend forecasting report by Greg Fong, Sean Monahan, Emily Segal, Chris Sherron, and Dena Yago. ECKHAUS LATTA is a fashion label by Zoe Latta and Mike Eckhaus. This dynamic duo has teamed up for an exhibit that is sure to bewilder and delight in equal parts.

    5. An Extra Space, on display in Berlin’s Kuckei + Kunkei Gallery until March 3rd, comprises Jenny Brillhart’s brilliant attempt to create balance. She works within the flux of differing relationships between found space, form, structure and organization. She believes, “The formation of objects and materials reveals a process of adding and subtracting on purpose or in err, in an attempt to balance or level ideas of beauty, form, representation, structure and narrative.” Therefore, visitors can decide for themselves what elements of the story were purposeful and what elements were created in the magic of the process.
